WebTV subscribers normally use WebTV's own local access
number directly to WebTV. However, many areas do not offer WebTV local access numbers, but
do have a Compu-Net local access number for our Internet service. Also, many WebTV
subscribers find their unit will receive information from the Internet much more quickly
with a Compu-Net local access number. You can use Compu-Net's local access number with your
WebTV unit, but it requires an account with BOTH WebTV and Compu-Net. Follow the directions
below to configure WebTV to dial Compu-Net.
